  • Event-based Retention (EBR)
    Enables applications to set an undetermined retention period when content is written to EMC Centera - and then to set a specific retention period or class at the time of a defined event.
  • Litigation Hold
    Enables an application to put a hold on an object - nd to remove it at the content level. Litigation Hold overrides retention on objects and prevents privileged deletion of objects. Objects may then be deleted when the hold is released.
  • Min/Max Governor
    Allows system administrators to enforce minimum / maximum retention - on a pool-by-pool basis.
